It's been a few days, and I actually have sales! I received a 5-star review! I am beyond thrilled to have my first book out there. I have so many more to come! In part 2 of this trilogy, things will change a lot. Lynelle and Alina both see the king in a whole new light! One of our main characters will not make it to part 3!

I also have plans for Rylok, the elusive dark elf. After this adventure is complete, he will embark on a quest to find the rest of his people. Is he truly the last, or did others survive? I have a whole trilogy planned for him as well.

I have another book, which I plan to call Sweet Dreams, planned as well. This will be longer than the Charmer and Rylok books and have a different feel. It's somewhat of a heavier story with a supernatural element. I think you will like it.

I am also throwing around the idea of a series centering around sister witches. That has been done, perhaps, but not like this! So, stay tuned and thanks for reading! My fans mean a lot to me.

I thought I would talk a little about what inspired me to write the Charmer series. It started with the flu. If you have ever had the flu, you know how terrible it makes you feel. I had fever and chills, and muscle pain. I felt like I had been hit by a truck. I could not sleep at all, and I resorted to tossing and turning on the couch. Somewhere in the wee morning hours, I drifted off to a half sleep state. It was then that I had the dream. I saw three people, a knight, a young girl and a dark elf with black skin and ice blue hair and eyes. They were backed up to a cliff overlooking the sea. Across from them was the entire king's army. Just as the army was about to attack and kill these three people, the ground began to shake. The sea started to stir and then this massive dragon rose up from the water. He had scales like steel, and tore through the king's army in no time at all. Yet, he did not harm the other three beings and slipped back into the sea. I woke up intrigued. I became obsessed with these three people. Who were they? What had they done to the king? Where did this dragon come from? Why didn't it kill them? I sat down, and I wrote an outline of the story. I decided to call it Dragon Charmer, but I did a search, and there was a book with that name. So, I shortened it to Charmer. There are three parts to this tale and three to the next chapter involving Rylok, the dark elf and his quest to find his people.
It is official. I have published the book through Amazon! It should be available in 12 hours!

I have completed the book! I am going to review it one more time for spelling and grammar mistakes. After that, it'll be available on Amazon for Kindle. I am so excited to finally be publishing my first book. I have all ready begun work on part two, which I hope to have available by June 1 at the latest.

Since Dragon Charmer is all ready a book title, I went with Charmer, Birth of the Chosen. I have been working on cover art and finishing the book. I wanted to have it done by now, but I needed to make some money writing other stuff. I hope to finish this tonight or tomorrow and have it on Amazon in a few days. Very exciting!

The book is coming along well. I have a few little tweaks and part 1 should be ready next week! It's a lot of work, but it is a labor of love. I hope everyone loves it, and I want to hear feedback. What do you like? What do you think will happen next? That kind of thing. Who knows? I may incorporate your suggestions into the story! I have 6 books planned in this epic adventure!
I am working on cover art for the book. I have a rought black and white sketch of Alina, the Dragon Charmer. I hope to finish it this week.

Genre

I specialize in Medieval Fantasy pieces akin to Lord of the Rings. The Dragon Charmer saga will be a trilogy available in three installments. I am planning a follow up trilogy that will follow one of the characters in the book on his journey to discover the rest of his clan. Is he truly the last? All 6 books should be released this year with about a month between releases. Stay tuned for updates, pictures, and more details from the series. If you like dragons, elves, fantasy, and Medieval adventure, these are the books for you.

Birth of the Dragon Charmer

My new book, Charmer - The Birth of the Chosen One will be released for kindle and electronic readers the first week in May. I could not call it Dragon Charmer as this title is all ready taken. I sis not want people to be confused between that book and mine. Mine is pure Medieval Fantasy and does not involve time travel. Here is a sneak peak:

The young boy shook as the thunder crashed loudly overhead. A single candle lit the interior of the rickety shack. Water trickled through the cracks in the roof, and the fire had long blown out. Sensing his fear, his mother drew near and tucked him in a little tighter. “It’s going to be fine,” she said. “This is a cleansing rain. It happens once a year. It washes the bad away and renews the countryside. You’ll see, tomorrow will be bright and sunny.” The little boy said nothing, his eyes said it all. Sitting on the edge of the bed, his mother stroked his hair. “There now. Close your eyes and I will tell you the story of the Dragon Charmer.” His face eased a little. The story was a favorite of children throughout the land.

She began.  “Once there was a king who was kind and just and loved by all. During his reign, there was peace. Food was abundant, taxes were low, and prosperity dominated. It was a great time for all. But, the king’s son had a black heart. He murdered his own father and ascended to the throne. The country instantly plunged into darkness, and the era of agony began. People were tortured, and families were torn apart. The river dried up, the land turned to dust, and a plague swept the land.”

A smile spread across the child’s face. “But there was hope, right Mother?”

“Oh, yes,” she replied, “There is always hope. You see, there was a prophecy. The era of agony would continue for 200 years. Then, during the reign of the seventh king, a child would be born.”

“The Dragon Charmer.”

“That’s right. The child bearing the dragon’s mark would possess the most ancient of gifts. This gift would allow her to summon a creature so fearsome; the king’s army could not defeat it.”

“Then, the dragon eats the king.”

“The dragon defeats the king, and peace is restored for all time.”

“When will the Dragon Charmer be born, Mom? This is the seventh king, right?”

“Well, no one knows for sure. It could be this very night.”
